On March 22 in the city of Genk, at the Jos Vaessen Talent Academy, the national team of the League of the Mightywill play its first friendly match against the Belgian national team Red Flamingos.
The blue-and-yellow squad includes amputee football players from teams across different regions of Ukraine: FC Bureviy (Kyiv region), MSC Dnipro (Cherkasy), and Shakhtar Stalevi (Donetsk). Most of them are soldiers and war veterans who have not only returned to sport but continue to inspire others by their example.
The head coach of the League of the Mighty national team is Bohdan Kulynych.
The match will kick off at 16:00 Kyiv time, and the live broadcast will be available exclusively on the UAF YouTube channel. Support our unbreakable team from your screens or at the stadium in Belgium!
The Ukrainian Association of Football (UAF) thanks the socially responsible business and partner of the League of the Mighty, the “Lvivske” brand, for its support in promoting amputee football, as well as the Royal Belgian Football Association for organizing this friendly match between the teams.
If you want, I can also make a slightly more “media / press-release style” English version, which sounds even more natural for international audiences.
